Many organizations do not invest in an employee health and wellness department these days. In today’s economy, most are lucky if they even have a wellness committee. As an employer, you know your most important asset is your employees; yet it can also be your most costly.

Studies show that healthy employees who feel good and enjoy life are more productive, miss less work time and reduce their employer’s health care costs. People feel better about their job when they see their employer is concerned about their health and well-being, not just their productivity. It makes them feel like the organization cares about them as a person.   

Many of our health care costs and the suffering people go through can be avoided with information and easy, practical tools that people can use to achieve optimal health, whatever that is for them. Prevention of health issues is far less costly for the employer and the employee than treatment of health problems. Stress is an underlying factor behind many of the health care issues we face today, such as high blood pressure; anxiety and depression; migraine headaches; stomach problems, such as gastric reflux; and irritable bowel syndrome, just to name a few.
  
Bonnie’s holistic philosophy to achieving optimal health is effective in addressing the whole person and not just a specific health problem. Incorporating nutrition, stress management, relaxation techniques, easy-to-learn movement and mind-body techniques can help the individual maintain balance in their life and achieve optimal health.
